I recently updated to iOS 12 on my iPhone 8, as well as taking my Macbook from Yosemite to High Sierra. After a full restore on the phone, I seem to be unable to sync my folder of photos from my Mac to my iPhone via iTunes the way I've done for years (assign iTunes to pull from a folder on my Mac, hit Sync/Apply in iTunes.)
It's giving me a blank white page in iTunes now that says 'iCloud Photos is on', and that my photos can be downloaded to my device via wifi or cellular network. Now I don't have iCloud turned on my phone or Mac (as far as I can tell), nor do I want to. I'd prefer to sync my photos the semi-old fashioned way. Is that not possible anymore?
