Hi,

Have an iPhone5 running 6.1.2 with latest Evasi0n jailbreak.

I've just noticed that any photos taken via the lock screen camera shortcut (slide lockscreen up via camera icon and take picture) don't seem to get saved.

All is fine when using the camera from the home screen app.

Can anyone else see if this happens to them?

Much appreciated.

Got a 4S and 5 on 6.1.2 and they both save via the lock screen slider.

My jailbroken i5 (6.1.2) saves them just fine.

Maybe you should restore to 6.1.3 and be done with it.

try to pin down the problem before taking drastic measures.

does it only happen when your device is password locked?

is it a particular theme you are using?

check tweaks you might have installed that could be interfering with the camera.

and obvious be said reboot your phone if you havent done so.

works fine for me 4S 6.1.1.

Most likely tweak related. Boot up holding volume up which will disable all your tweaks. If it saves, then you can start uninstalling a few tweaks at a time that you are related to camera/lock screen until the problem is fixed

AnyLockApp will allow you to switch to any app. I think it was free but not sure.

IThe one thing I like about the stock camera app is that if you had a pass code, you could get into a sandbox version of the app without the pass code, if I could get anylockapp to replicate that feature with 3rd party camera apps then that's a winner.

Useful

And maybe you should go live in the shed with all the other tools?

Tried rebooting many times, still a problem.

Rebooted with volume up, all worked ok.

Rebooted normally and all worked ok still.

Bizarre.

Yes true, but by the time you put in your code...you've missed the moment:(
After all that is the whole point of the camera being accessible like that ;)

ive tested anylockapp.

it messes up my folderenhancer folders when used - it basically ignores the status bar and shifts them up when open.

only respringing solves the issue but will occur again when opening the newly appointed app using anylockapp.
