I'm running High Sierra. I'm trying to print from Photos to my Canon MG7720. I can't get the photos to center on the paper. Whether I'm using 4x6, 5x7 or larger, What ever option on choose on the print dialog, there is always a wider border on one edge and often on top or bottom. I thought that if I had 4x6 photo paper and selected 4x6 from the print dialog, I'd get an even border around the edge of the photo. But one side is much larger than the other.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Highly unlikely you'd be able to fix this via software. Any Mac printer drivers that I've ever used do not have the ability to adjust the margins individually in the fashion to fix your issue.

Most photo printers can print "borderless", which means it overprints the edges so that you don't have unevenness.

I would check to see if the printer can be manually adjusted. I doubt it, but it's worth a look in the manual.

I think the problem is with the Photos app. When I'm viewing the pic in Photos and I click print, I get a dialog asking about printer, etc., and it shows how the picture will appear based on various sizing options. So, it provides previews of where the picture will be on the paper depending on whether I choose 4x6, 5x7, etc. I assumed this was Apple's software, not Canon's?

Printer drivers are supplied by the printer manufacturer.

Have you tried printing the same photo with a different app to see if the problem persists? How about printing in the Preview app?
