Photos - using the "iDropper' for white balance, it dissapears - iMac

When using Preview>Tools on a photo or scan, the white balance iDropper frequently disappears, as I move it around. There are times when I can't even get to a white portion of the photo to do white balance. Screen recording attached. (Ventura iMac) Anyone else have this issue? #Preview #EyeDropper #iDropper #whitebalance
