6 PM (San Diego-time) update for Saturday, February 3rd:
FYI, the "HEIF Photo Streaming" support that we announced just-yesterday "should" become available to the General Public within just a few days, and to our Business Partners no later than the end of February.
From a high-level perspective, our HEIF Photo Streaming implementation is simply the streaming of Motion Photography Photos from our Photosets Pro v1.2 iOS app, to our Photosets TV v1.0 macOS app.
Our implementation encodes each photo ONLY with HEVC "intra-coding," so that the Decoding Time of any particular photo (on the receiving end) is minimized ... and specifically, we're saying UN-compressed BGRA photo-content to HEVC-encoded photos, with each photo in it's own HEIF container.
We intentionally chose NOT to include "inter-coding" because our primary target applications ALL require Lowest Decode Times (i.e., Sports Highlights, Female Photo Modeling & Fashion Shows, and Dynamic Nature Scenes, AND of course, ALL eventually streamed Live from their sources).

FYI, we've decided to RE-define & simplify the options for the "Photosets TV Capture" feature ... specifically, moving forward, Photosets Pro will now support ONLY two "streaming" options: 1.) the streaming of JPEG Photos from all supported devices, and 2.) the streaming of HEIF Image Sequences from select supported devices.
As before, it's (motion photography photoset streaming) from the Photosets Pro iOS app to the Photosets TV macOS app ... in other words, everything else stays the same.
