I just got a new catalog from the New School in New York, apparently they are offering a class on Photoshop 8... huh? I had to look twice. I mean, ya I heard some rumors but how do they have a class on it??? they must have some inside deal with Adobe.

Here is the class:

What's New in Photoshop 8.0_NCIC0028
A__ 1 session(s). Fri. , 10:00-5:00 PM, beg. October 17. $260.00
Register: Non-Credit
Instructor to be announced____
Limited to 14. This class highlights the host of new features available in Photoshop 8 as well as identifying professional-level tips and techniques of this major upgrade. Adobe is now focusing on both the video and digital photography markets, and Photoshop updates include NTSC/PAL/HD preview choices to complement the existing CMYK preview, a histogram palette, nested layer sets, and text on a path. Photoshop 8 also includes "filter layers," allowing for non-destructive image editing and manipulations similar to Adobe After Effects' adjustment layers. This class presupposes knowledge of Photoshop fundamentals and familiarity with versions 6 or 7.0. (0.0 credits)

That's interesting - I'm betting that PS 8 will be optimized for Panther so we might see both before October.

Good news if its not just a typo.

So...?

I have the beta...

Obviously they have the most current versions and they hope to have the final version by the time the coarse starts, and there are very few bugs so I can imagine it would be soon.
