We are having a hell of a time with the Designers in our office. I upgraded them all to Panther and Adobe CS. now working with photoshop CS whenever they try to save a doc to a server (G4 XServer Panther) Photoshop CS quits...
Adobe Tech "Support" said this about Photoshop:

"Adobe Technical Support only supports using Photoshop on a local hard disk because of the difficulty to re-create or accurately identify network- and peripheral-configuration problems."

Here they are saying that they do not support working off a server!!!
Has any one else had any similar problems?

TIA
Snake

I think they are saying it can save to a remote disk, but Adobe Support won't help you if you happen to have technical difficulties because of all the potential [non-adobe related] problems.

Its intersting Adobe would say that. After viewing the tutorial video (which talks about servers, saving and working in Agencies with large networks) and myself working in CS using "Version Cue" I have had no problems saving to a server. I am not using Panther yet but what I have is 2 G3s on Jaguar (one being used as a "server") 2 PCs running Win 2K and all loded with CS my LAN is small (5 total PCs) and they are connected via an Ethernet hub.
I will be installing Panther the beginning of next week, and with our shop being an Adobe ASN member I will be curious to see what they say if I run into problems.
