I'll be in Japan 12/7 - 12/12 on business trip.
Travel from Detroit thru Chicago to Narita, 14+ hours.

Anybody have good recommendation(s) for a Mac Photoshop Elements PP book?

I can put that long trip to good use, I have PSE8.

I'd rather trust someone here whos "been here/done that" than reading reviews online.

I've dabbled in PSE6 and 8, so slightly more than beginner.

Of course I'm taking my T1i, gotta make special arrangements for it's storage daytime, since I'm not allowed to take it into my workplace due to security rules.
Hopefully I have some good ones to share in 2 weeks.

For Photoshop I think the video tutorials are best, better then any of the books. You have to buy the video because streaming can't work on an airplane. There are two places, look at both
http://www.lynda.com/

You don't need a PSE video as the basic tools and ideas are the same in CS4 and PSE. Get one of the more advanced tutorials that cover workflow or color corection or masking. Each is about 8 to 10 hours long and covers a ton of material. Both companies have previews so you can check the quality first.

Thx Chris;
My iMac will of course be at home, and my work laptop is WinTel and I'm not allowed to download anything to it.

Should have stated that in my 1st post.

With that in mind, any books worthwhile to read?
I did quick look at both online services and I might go that route, but for the 6 days I'm gone paper based is my only option.
