I'm considering upgrading to Photoshop elements 2023 for Mac. I've heard there are installer problems with PS not loading or not being usable after loading. Anyone know about this or experienced this problem? (Ventura 13.4 on MacBook Pro). Many thanks.

I don't really know. There was one or more issues with Elements and macOS 13.0, but I think those issues are fixed with 13.4:

(Note that the above thread doesn't mention _installing_ Elements, so YMMW.)

I have Photoshop Elements 2023, never had any issues. I was on Ventura when I installed it but couldn't say exactly what version; still working fine currently on Sonoma 14.1.

The current version of Ventura is 13.6.1 which I would suggest installing regardless (assuming you want to stick with Ventura).

Thanks all. I'm still balanced between PSE and Affinity Photo 2, which is cheaper, but horribly confusing and non-intuitive, but has hundreds of bells and whistles that I may never use. On the other hand, I may...
