Ever since installing Yosemite, I've found that photoshop CC 2014 runs slowly. Anyone know what's up with this? It's mostly if I'm making a line using my tablet (with pressure sensitivity and all that) the line won't follow the cursor like normal, but appear after the fact. Anyone else having this issue/is there a fix for it?

Specs are this, it's a maxed out late 2013 retina 15" pro.

Anyone know what's up with this? It was perfectly fine before on Mavericks.

EDIT: I should also mention, I did an upgrade. Should I format and do a clean install? Can I still restore from a time machine backup if I do that or do I need to manually move over files?

I am not having any issues with Photoshop 2014.

What type of tablet do you use? If it is a Wacom one, you may want to take a look at http://community.wacom.com/en/inspi...r/using-wacom-drivers-with-mac-os-x-yosemite/

I'm not sure if it's an issue with the tablet, as it moves and such just fine. It is a Wacom, yes. It didn't seem to fix anything, though.

I should also mention, the problem wasn't there when using a program like, say, Manga Studio 5. So I think the problem may lie within photoshop or my installation. I'll do a reinstall from a time machine backup tomorrow and update then.

I know I'm kind of necro-ing my own thread, but I'm desperate at this point.

My laptop has turned into a slow, buggy mess ever since upgrading. I don't know why I did, when the only reason I did it was for continuity, and that's not even working right.

Nothing runs smoothly anymore. I have no idea as to what's going on. Anyone have any ideas? I've already reformatted and reinstalled, I'm thinking of just downgrading back to mavericks and never leaving it. Yosemite has turned my 3k machine into a machine that could barely rival my old core 2 duo Macbook in useability.
