I'm aware there's a bug that's been evident for a while where the shake reduction tool is missing in photoshop when running natively on the M1 (Silicon) Macs, is there a way to download and force the Mac to use the intel version and Rosetta for the times you need the shake reduction tool please?

Yes, there is exactly that option and the shake reduction is missing from the Apple silicon version.

Find Adobe Photoshop 2022 app in your Applications Folder, inside the Adobe Photoshop 2022 folder.
Click it once and press Command+I
In the new window, check “Open using Rosetta”
Open Photoshop

Thanks very much, that appears to work.

However, most of the time I edit in lightroom and then send it from lightroom to photoshop once adjustments are made just for the final tweaks, when I do this shake reduction is again missing. Is there a way to send from lightroom to photoshop and have it open in rosetta please?

I honestly don't know, as I only use Photoshop. Perhaps try running both Lightroom and Photoshop in Rosetta mode?

Thanks. I already tried that but it doesn’t work unfortunately. I’m just going to have to save the LR edits as PSD files and open in PS independently.

If you open Photoshop using Rosetta first, Lightroom should open the photo in the already open Photoshop
