Photoshop stuck in UPPERCASE

Lately these past two days whenever I use the type tool to add text to an image it is stuck on UPPERCASE for any font I use, both caps lock keys are off (my PB keyboard and my external White Pro) so that's not the problem, so if anybody could help me out that'd be great!

Have you tried unplugging the external keyboard and making sure it's turned off in other applications while just using the onboard?

Open up the Character palette in Photoshop. At the bottom of it should be a range of buttons... the 3rd from the left with the two Ts? It's not on by any chance is it?

Yes, that's why this thread is 2 days late, I tried everything .

That it was, I just turned it off - wonder how that happened?

When I first started using PS a few years back I did this same error.
