I really like the idea of Photostream, but the size of the pics I take makes me nervous.

If my most recent photos were taken on my DSLR and brought into Aperture, is iCloud going to attempt to sync the huge raw files everywhere, or does it sync preview-quality images.

Also, if I bring a picture into Aperture and edit it, does it sync the master or the version?

I don't think it will sync a RAW file. JPG, PNG is what goes I think. It should be original size. It is also only what is new what you save to the camera roll.
