Photostream putting photos into same event on iPhoto

I set up iPhoto to make a new event for every day's worth of photographs.

Photostream keeps putting its photos into the same event instead of making a new one per day. Can I change this behavior?

I'm curious about this too, I disabled the auto upload until I can figure it out, it's annoying.

I'm also wondering if someone figured out how to do this!

Photostream is really nice but it's hard to find pictures on my mac now since I have to browse through a whole month of pictures every time...
