PhotoSwap: Is there a "secret guide" to what everything means?

I've been playing with PhotoSwap for a few days, and having lots of fun. However, many times after exchanging a few innocent shots with someone, I'll get one that appears as though it must be a signal of some sort (a hand gesture, a particular position or what have you) and I haven't a clue what any of the "secret language" is.

Well, except for the feet thing. Someone clued me in about that one, which is a good thing, because it could have been really embarrassing otherwise.

Is there any list of what the PhotoSwap visual cues are, so folks can know how to avoid innocent mistakes?

not sure about all the "signal" stuff but maybe there's a bit of insight to be found on flickr. just do a search for "photoswap". beware of the results if you're under-age.

Ha ha...great post.

I'm not sure there are definitive answers. The other thing to remember is that some stuff is just random. I've gotten some rather outrageous photos from random trades too. So it's not always something you've done!

That being said, here's some things I seem to have picked up after a few days.

* Feet with shoes = I'm bored
* Bare feet = Show me naked parts of your body
* Comment "NR" - Won't report received images
* Comment "CPL" = User is a male/female couple. (Usually looking for another CPL.)
* Random (Clothed) Body Part = Show me this part (clothed or not) on you
* A face = I want to trade photos but I'm not interested in any nudity!
* Pet, Child, or Children Toys = I am REALLY not interested in any nudity!

and finally...

* Bed, sheets, pillows, clothes on floor, legs, neck, stomach, shower, sink, tiles on floor, sofa, pure-black image, or knees = I want to see you naked

See, this is the sort of clues I need. We have some really nice tiles in our house, and I've periodically taken perspective shots of the criss-crossed lines and shadows. Who knows who I've offended?

Of course, that would explain a few of the odd responses I've gotten.

Some of the gestures for which I need clarification are the "two fingers" and "three fingers" signs, as I've seen them more frequently of late. (Simply guessing they are not "Peace" and "W, the Lame Duck.")

Another curious gesture is the "clenched fist," which seems to come primarily from Japan.
