+1

This is the only thing pushing me towards a surface pro, I'd love an iPad to be able to run a local web server, the only means of php development for me at the moment on an iPad is using an app such as coda and using sftp to a remote server running lamp.

I tried for about a year and a half, was always going to my desktop, and ended up getting a 13in MacBook Pro.

This is one of those areas where the iPad as a laptop replacement falls flat. Yes you can code, but the previewing and running an emulated server does not work well. Also, if editing any of the CSS to the generated divs, there's no good version of inspect element for the iPad Pro.
