Hi,

for those wondering, heres the difference between the MBPs before and after the power adaptor upgrade.

Changes noticed:
Smaller box(duh)
Smaller brick(duh)
Accessories packed in airtight packets instead of adhesive plastic bags.

For those wondering about weight,

the total package weight of the old one was 4.68KG and the new one was 4.50, both weighed by courier company, so it includes bigger box and some more styrofoam then the extra weight of the power brick in the old one, so the power brick would be less than 180g lighter.

I agree, i wish i could obtain one of the new adapters but buying one isn't justifiable as the one i have works fine.

mine was a replacement,

however the deliveryman got no instructions to collect the old one back, i have no idea why. then with them, i decided to show u all curious people whats their diffs
