Physical dimensions of MBP change?

I bought an invisible shield for the "old" 15" 2.16 macbook pro, but I am returning my computer for the new model. I obviously have not applied the skin to the computer. Everything is still in its packaging.

Does the invisible shield (bestskinsever) for the old mbp fit the new mbp? I suppose my question is if there is anything different about the external physical dimensions of the computer? port placement, hinges, buttons, screws, etc.

The dimensions of the current MBP's are exactly the same as the old MBP's; they are only a little bit lighter...
