Well, I just recently ungraded to 3.0 after a long period of sitting on a very old Jailbroken version not really using anything from the app store and only really using my phone for Safari (I never use my laptop anymore :D). I just recently discovered how fun games on my iphone can be so I'm looking for some suggestions so I can get the most out of my phone.

Depending on how much I use my phone over the next couple weeks and if I find useful apps or fun games will decide on If I should upgrade to the 3GS as I've had my 2G since launch in the UK!

I love turret defense games, especially ones with alot of replayability and not simply 20 levels and thats it, hardcore modes, double length modes, whatever, replayability = win. So far I bought GeoDefense and completed what I can in a major around 8 hour session with little breaks (obsessive personality).

I'm also a long time RPG fan, especially old school turn based battles with lots of grinding and side quests, although I cant imagine there being any good ones out there for the iphone it'd be nice to be surprised!

I LOVE physics games. Armadillo Run and World of Goo (google them) are two of my all time favorite PC games due to the sheer ammount of things you can do with them with the customisable levels etc. Would love some like these on my phone.

Thanks, if theres any games in the making not released yet I may like please say!

I also recommend Fieldrunners. As for RPG's Zenonia is the best. Now is the perfect time to get it they just dropped the price from $5.99 to $2.99 so get it before the price goes up.

Moonlights

I haven't played it but its basically what world of goo is.
# 42 levels of increasing difficulty
# Animated tutorials on the first levels
# Regular updates with new levels and new items
# Gravity controlled by flipping the screen
# Scroll and zoom with classic gestures of multitouch devices
# Local scores
# Level editor in Flash (available in next update)

Check it out :)

Since you already have GeoDefense and fieldrunners has already been suggested then take a look at Defender Chronicles(link`s for appshopper btw). And I liked sentinel much better than field runners btw. But GeoDefense is in a league of its own, without any doubts. I have yet to try DefenderChronicles out as didnt get the time but bought it as it was on sale for 99cents. What I m sure is that the game will be good as all the reviews are positive and I love the idea of episodic story updates(ala pocket god) this game has. Will keep the game interesting for as long as they keep pumping out these updates.

for physics, Fantastic Contraption is a grreat fun game, aim is to build a machine to propel/project an object from one area to another over/around various objects which can and cant interact with your object
