Wanted to wait until I used them a bit before I posted this:

On Saturday, went to the apple store (going very early really helped), traded in my old iphone (no one wanted and hate selling stuff online) and got my Airpod Pro's for free..well had to pay the GST (canada).

Come home and let it charge on my wireless charger before I did anything. Once done, did the fit test and, for the first time ever, the tips that were on their already (medium) actually fit very well.

Playing music on them were awesome, it sounded crystal clear and the bass was better than I thought it would be. This morning at work, I tried out noise cancelling and I was very impressed, really looking forward to giving these a shot on the bus tomorrow morning. walked around with them on and they didn't move at all and transparency mode was really cool. I could still hear my co-workers on the other side a bit while listening to music.

Just plugged in my Airpod Pro's and open up the case, got a notification about announce message, heard about it and will give it a shot. Waiting for the update to happen now.

Overall. I'm impressed and really happy with these earbuds. Can't wait to try spatial audio.

Thanks,

BTW, a quick update: Looks like they updated. version 3A283 now. For those wondering (if not know already), on 13.7 and don't see spatial in the setting for my Airpod Pro's.
Congrats on the purchase.

The Spatial Audio will only work on IOS14, so the setting may only be there once you upgrade IOS. I'm eager to test it out for sure.

I used mine for exercising and find them excellent for that purpose (and almost all other purposes). YMMV.

Same. They're perfect for the gym, ANC there is brilliant.

traded in my old iphone

Which old phone btw?

I have AirPods 2 and Powerbeats Pro. Im tempted to update my AirPods to Pro as my “non-exercise” choice. Are we expecting a hardware update to the APP anytime soon?

I grabbed myself a set of AirPods Pro over the weekend too and can only sing their praises.
I won’t be using them for running and am planning to carry on with my cheaper brand for that, but the sound quality of the APP is phenomenal in comparison.

I’m glad that you are enjoying yours too OP.

The APP are actually more suited to exercise than prior models, as they now have an IPX4 rating & fit better in more ears thanks to the customisation of silicon tips.

I love them for gym work & running myself.

I know they are better suited than the regular AirPods (which don’t fit at all in my ears).
I bought the APP specifically for use during my online study and walk to campus for lab time, hence not wanting to use them for running. I don’t want to risk losing them or getting them filled with sweaty ear gunk when I need to use them for more important work.
The Enacfire E18 plus I’m currently using are great for working out but the audio quality from its mic setup is nowhere near as good as I need for chatting with tutors online.

I have AirPods and AirPods Pro. They each have their strengths. AirPods are more comfortable the Pro have better sound. Regular AirPods I could wear for hours. Pro its comfortable but I need a break after an hour.

I recently purchased the Pros and, luckily, am having no issues getting a proper seal or them slipping out of my ears. N/C and everything works great. Biggest complaint I have with them is the lack of bass. I’m not looking for “Beats” level bass, but even after messing around with my EQ settings, I can’t get anywhere near the amount of bass, and overall great sound quality in general, that I get from my Gen 2 AirPods. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

64GB Iphone X. My mom didn't want it and I hate selling stuff, especially electronics. So I took it to the Apple store.
I too hate selling stuff. You may hate selling stuff even more than I do, but when I sell an iPhone, I just price it slightly lower than every other iPhone in my area. I still get more money than I would if I took it into Apple, and I usually sell it within 30 minutes or so.
