hey guys! so this is kinda of a stupid question but when you pick up your imac from the store after the genius bar repaired it, do they just give it too you or is it in a box or like what? cause i can't see myself carrying a 27 inch imac to my car without a box. sorry if i just wasted your time reading this!

How did you bring it to them then? Naked?
If the repair was done in the shop, you'll probably get it like you delivered. If the iMac was shipped somewhere else, you will get it probably in its travel package. You could bring the iMac's box just in case though.

well i brought it with the box but they wouldn't take it. and the thing is seriously a pain to put back in the box, well at least for me it is I'm pretty small haha:rolleyes:

We brought the iMac to the repair place in its original box, then took the box home; brought the box back when it was time to pick it up. Let the repair tech place it in the box for you, they've probably done it a million times. I'd rather have the inconvenience of using a box then to risk damaging the computer.
