Hi,

Long time lerker, first time poster.

I am looking at getting a new iPad for Christmas with a budget of around £400. Ive been looking at the IPad 2018 which is currently £319 for the 32gb version (32gb is fine for me), but I have seen that I can get a refurbished 2016 iPad Pro for £439. Is the 2016 pro much better that the current standard iPad?

What’s everyone’s thoughts?

Thanks for reading.

If you can live without True Tone and don't mind a non laminated display I'd go for the 2018 iPad. You could pick up additional accessories with the savings you're making

That video is a good one. The switch to the True Tone display and stereo speakers was a significant upgrade. If you think you might want to use your iPad outside the Pro screen is much better in direct sunlight.
