I recently bought 'Jade' for iPhone, and I have to say, it's a waste of money compared to this. Jade is priced at £2.99 and basically just adds brightness (no offense to the developer).

Picoli is a fully-featured photo editing suite for your, taken, or future photos, on your iPhone. I've just dropped the £2.99, and I'm lovin it.

Anyone checked it out yet?

Thoughts/Opinions?

EDIT: Touching the 'list' icon in the top right corner of Picoli,
results in the UI flipping to reveal all of the filters currently available. One, Slick UI.

EDIT 2: Pictures of UI below.

I was just about to post to see if anyone has tried this yet. I have not purchased it yet, but from the description and the screenshots, it definitely looks interesting.

Can you put of some screen captures of what you've done with it so far; to see how much the app degrades the quality of the photos you edit (especially with the night vision and sunburn options.) Just curious.

Sure.

Sunburst filter results below.

It's like a condensed Photoshop, for iPhone.

Made up with it for £3.

I'll add more as I get chance to play about with it.

I'm sure these are not the 'best' results it can produce.

Interesting. At least, it seems more than what the other iPhone photo apps can do at the moment. And is this app stable for you so far?

I should just go ahead and download it but, I've just realized I've spent almost $200 on apps so far and it's getting out of control! Must. stop. buying. apps. going. broke... :(

Yeah, the app seems the most stable I have on my phone atm, and I have about 75 apps currently installed, some of which don't even open due to crashes

I recommend it, from what I've used of it.

I think it'll just come in handy everywhere, thats why I picked it up.

And yes, I will also have to stop buying - I'm not as bad as you though ;) .. I think I've racked up £40 ($80) :p

EDIT 3: Btw, ignore the cut in the sunburst photo above, I think thats entirely due to the fact I can't keep the iPhone's camera still.
I've since tried taking another photo, applying the same filter, and the cut is not there.

is there another cell that you can edit photos on? I've never heard of such a thing, the iPhone impresses me more everyday. I spent 299 on my laptop on black Friday and 499 for the iPhone, it rocks plain and simple.

Take photo, edit, email it, IM it, upload it, only thing missing is a micro printer lmao

Not to take away from a nice looking app, but yes. My free LG Secret has similiar capabilities with an in-built app. I think even my ancient Razr V3i had basic editing that included some simple filters.

I want a Broken Heart Robot toy!!! :-(

:) I appreciate that! They have been sold out for quite awhile at most places though every so often I see a retailer that has a couple of them hidden in the back. Myself, I am completely out of the standard blue version and the blank, but I might have a clear or glow if you want to PM me... ;)

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread.

Broken Heart Robot toy FTW.

Is there a way to crop pics in this app?

(I know there's a workaround someone mentioned, but I was hoping for something a bit more exact).

Not currently.

I've submitted my review to the App Store which includes a request for this feature.

Nice work-around in the meantime - creative.

The app does not seem to be that popular :), hopefully this thread will bring in some sales and more $$$ for the developer so he can carry on updating this great app!!!

Your welcome.

Yeah, they are really tuned-in developers, especially regarding the iPhone and the market surrounding it, it seems.
