I am sorry, I realized after I left the store I didn't check whether these are nano- or not. Pictures only go so far anyway! Hope they help someone...
comfortable in what ways?Nano Texture is a game changer.
Much more comfortable to look at.
if you had to ask then you do not need it.comfortable in what ways?
at least you can get nano texture on every singular macbook pro variant...Mine is currently scheduled for Monday delivery (we'll see if it happens), but I might stop by the Apple Store this weekend to see what the Nano texture looks like in person. Apple's pushing it heavily so it is getting recommended a lot, but I'm not convinced it is worth the $150 for me. But seeing it in person should help clarify it somewhat.
Yep & it’s compounded by the fact you’re forking over another $150 for the nano texture. It’d be nice to equate this to “some people like chocolate & some like vanilla” but it’s not that straightforward. In my opinion if the decision between the two coatings is this challenging, then there is no 'wrong choice', however, it seem prudent to go with the 'default' option.

You will be fine. My screens got better the day i banned sneezing at them and eating in front of it.What also stood out to me is the fragility of the texture. Apple suggests only using the polishing cloth. Skipping water when cleaning. Only using alcohol very rarely and for “stubborn” stains.
My current MacBook Pro I am replacing is 6 years old. Could the nano stand up as long?
My glossy display on that MacBook looks as good as the day I opened the box. I do clean my entire MacBook daily or every other day.
