I received my Pad & Quill classic leather band for my Space Black watch and figured I'd post some pics in case anyone wants to see this combo. I went with the 2 tone, Galloper Black.

I'm very impressed with it. The quality is very good and I really like the thickness of the band. It is very comfortable to wear and looks great.

The first thing I noticed is that the band is a bit short. I have a 180mm wrist and as you can see, there isn't much left after it is tucked into the loop. Anyone with larger wrists may have an issue.

Speaking of the loop, I ended up cutting off the second loop as it is unnecessary in my case and was just in the way. Plus, due to the prominent stitch on the backside of the loop, it added unnecessary thickness.

Overall, I am very pleased with this band.

Just received my black cuff strap from them today. Wearing it with 42mm black sport watch and really like it. Real quality strap.

I have been considering this band for myself and your pictures look really good! I have the SG Sport, but I think it will look just as good on the Sport model. A couple of questions:

Do they make an all black version? (black and black, instead of black and brown?)
How good are the black adapters? (I am OK with black and space gray)
Do they look strong enough for long time use?

I want to make this band my daily band and use my Black Sport band for workouts / weekends.

Thanks again for posting the pictures!

They don't make an all black version of the Classic Leather Band (the one I got), but it looks like they might with the Lowry Leather Band which is a bit of a different style. You can check it out here:

http://www.padandquill.com/apple-watch-accessories/apple-watch-leather-bands.html

The adapters seem to be of good quality. They slide in and click just like the Apple bands do and I don't anticipate any issues with them from what I can see. I've been wearing mine for about a week now and they seem quite sturdy.

The only thing I would caution against is with regards to the band size. As you can see from my pics, I'm pretty much near the end of it's capacity with 180mm wrists. If you have larger wrists, the band may not fit properly (or at all). It is shorter in length than the large size of the Apple Sport Band.

Interesting issue with the band being too short. I thought the 42mm Apple Watch body was taller than most traditional watches, so the band might be too long. I wear my S/M Sport band on the third hole from the end. If I measure from the push button to the third hole, I get 7 3/8" or 187mm. (Which seems big compared to the 180mm you are reporting) I did not think I had big wrists, but maybe I was wrong...

What hole do you use for your Sport Band? (If you have one)

I looked at the other Pad and Quill bands, but none of them are available with the black adapters and buckle. I would rather get the black Classic model with the brown underside vs the black Lowry with the chrome accents.

If they had a black Lowry with the black adapters and buckle, I would order it. (and hope it fits) ;)

Here's what they look like side by side. I use the larger version of the sport band and the 4th hole in from the end. Technically, the leather band has holes nearer to the end which would accommodate a larger wrist perhaps, but then there would be nothing left to tuck into the loop.

If that is the larger sport band, then the Pad and Quill looks big enough for my wrist. How are you measuring your wrist at 180mm?

I noticed their website says they band will not ship until mid-January. How long did you have to wait?

I measured my wrist with a sewing tape measure (flexible). You can also just use a string and then mark and measure it. I just checked again and it's exactly 180mm.

I ordered mine on Thursday Dec. 10th and it said it would be delivered Christmas week. But, it shipped the very next day on Friday Dec. 11th. The courier arrived on Monday Dec. 14th with it. So, it was very fast. And that was to Canada (I live near Toronto).
