I'm really happy with this purchase. Here are my initial thoughts:

• The finish on the lugs and buckle is a PERFECT match to Space Black.
• Lug tolerances are very close to the Apple lugs.
• The red band itself is nice and light, but thick. Very comfortable.
• The buckle is a little big, but doesn't seem to get in the way.
• White stitching clashes a bit, but not a huge deal breaker.

I have a clockwork synergy nylon band with adapter as single item purchase.
The adapter is not the same quality as adapter come with Apple classics buckle. There is zero movement on CB adapter, which I swap everyday since I got it in early June.
Clockwork synergy adapter, on both sides, come with nylon band wiggle slightly on 1st day I received, slightly worse than Apple sports band. I got it for very good price, so I will live with it.
But I will not purchase as separated adapter, if you have the same expectation as CB adapter.
I just ordered adapter from Watch Shoppe, should be in around a week. We will see how more expensive one from WS measure against Apple CB adapter and CWS.

I'm using adapters from WatchShoppe. Although like you, I think the price is pretty high (compared to others) the quality is there so far. No movement at all. The fit tightly and leave no gap with the watch casing.
