Picture collage (grid, frame, gallery) software - suggest a method!

I'd like to create a number of pictures like the one below. I have Pixelmator and I can still download the Photoshop trial, if that's what I'll need.

But personally, I am hoping that a simple app, or some web applications can be used. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

You could use the photobook templates in iPhoto. This will give you a fairly limited variety of layouts, but if it's simplicity you're after, it might be just the ticket. You can print to PDF when you're finished, to save your work.

Thanks, but I need these collages for a website, so pdf is not ideal as I need either png or jpg.

Picture collage

Lightroom 3 custom picture package. Add any size image to any size paper. If it adds a new sheet just drag it back to the first one and place it. Overlap pictures and add any size.
