Just picked up this on Saturday:
(Sold my 96 Audi A4 2.8L 3 weeks ago. I must say, I do NOT recommend Audi engines, even though I had no problems.)
'88 BMW E30 with M50TUB25 engine+M3 Cams and Turner chip (220-230hp 80+ better than stock)
new M3 suspension, thicker sway bars, 99 M3 tranny, M3 exhaust and 2.93LSD diff. As it looks stock, I much prefer it to the many that look as if an 18yr old with his first power-drill adding their first bodykit

I'll get my own pics soonish, but am wanting to touch up a little more paint and give it wash as its quite dirty from the recent rains.
I must say, the car is an absolute blast to drive since its just under 2800lbs, and all the work was done end of last year till midway through 2010. Looking to toss in a lower diff for more torque. This was built to be an AutoX car that could be used as a DD. As the engine and tranny, clutch kit were installed by a BMW race shop, I felt very confident in the work done, and have all receipts/history dating back to purchase of the car.
Now to go buy some Hoosiers and lightweight 15" rims, sell the ASA rims for some stock basketweaves for DD use, and complete the cosmetic side of things. Camber is set for "fun"
