I love bikes. The first pic is my first ever bike I got 2 years ago, a kymco people 50cc then a friend of mine gave me the 1993 suzuki DR 125cc 2 stroke because he bought a new bike. I live in madrid so you dont see many dirt bikes out here. I cant wait till I turn 18, I am going to buy a honda CBR.

EDIT: Images from google, but the bikes are identical in color and year model

Been lurking for a while and I thought I'd finally make a post:

My 1999 Honda Prelude

j0sh, nice ride.

I have actually been trying to get a friend to upgrade, from his 1998? Civic hatchback, to a newer Prelude. I think they are still sharp cars, and i love that body style.

Thanks. Yea they're great cars and it's going to be difficult to part with when the time comes to sell her.

The Elantra GT (not sure about the other models) even has a central locking system where instead of having a power locks button, you just push the regular lock button and it locks and unlocks all of the doors. That's something that you'd expect to see in a really expensive car like a Mercedes or BMW and it's just really cool.

You don't need an expensive german car for that :) . My 90 VW Jetta GLI had that function as well. They made that standard equipment on every US VW Passat in 1990, and the Golf / Jetta in 1993 (It was standard earlier on the GLI , GTI 16v models).

THe central locks also locked and unlocked the trunk, and the gas door pneumatically. VW did away with their central locking system when they switched to all electronic with the B5 Passat, and MK4 Jetta / Golf / GTI. I still like the old system better!

I had a 1983 Mercedes 300D that also had central locking, but it didn't work most of the time.

my ride

Ive a 2004 Acura TSX sans navigation in arctic blue pearl metallic. For my next car I want a bimmer!!

I just bought a 2007 Saturn Aura XR in black with the Morocco Brown interior. Fully loaded except for panoramic roof and premium floor mats. It is really a nice car and the best GM sedan ever except for Caddy's and Saab's. It drives nice too, and the interior is awesome. I love it! :D

That thing is NICE! I absolutely love the interior and I think they look much better than the G6, both interior and exterior.

Here are better quality pictures of my new Aura XR.

That's one slick Saturn.

I think it'd be one hell of a slick saturn if you de-badged it, removed the chrome trim, replaced the wood-grain inside with brushed aluminum, and it had a) manual transmission, or b) paddle shifters.

Yet, it is still a very desirable car, especially from an American manufacturer.

Thanks. The XE has a 4 speed auto, but the one I have which is the higher end XR has a 6 speed with paddle shifters. Look on the steering wheel and you will see the buttons that upshift and downshift in manumatic mode. And there is no way I am debadging it! Want to show off the marriage of Opel and Saturn to the world! :p

I thought it might have had paddle shifters after I posted that and was going through your pictures and saw the 'M' on the shifter. I love the colour of the leather, it looks sharp. I'm sticking with the de-badging however. I just find the Saturn logo so uninspiring.

Nice one mate. I wish we got some Saturns down here. They look pretty good.

Hmm.... you guys still have the last generation Vectra. The Aura is based on the current generation of the Opel Vectra. You guys have the current Astra though which will become the Saturn Astra( name is unconfirmed, just be clear that it is the Ion replacement). You also have the Antara as well( Captiva is the name Holden gave it). The Antara will become our Saturn Vue in '08 MY. So technically you have Saturns. Just under the Holden name. :p

I'll be honest, I don't really see the appeal of paddle shifters when coupled with a traditional automatic.

If you're going to go that far, why not just get the stick (provided it's available with the car that you're buying.)

Yeah, good point mate. I didn't realise it's based on the Vectra. That's an awesome platform. Are they gonna do an AWD one anytime soon? That could be fun.

I'm only just starting to see Captivas/Antaras on the roads now. They're quite handsome.

Epsilon I( name of the platform) isn't AWD capable. But, Epsilon II will be. EPII will be out in 2010. Still that is weird. You have all the latest Opels, but the Vectra.
