So I have an iPhone 6 & I'm trying to see how to take better pictures. I'm not very photogenic but the quality seems low. Like the picture still look orange like in earlier versions & they come out dark & grainy still. I know ppl with the same phone who's pictures look so good so idk why mine come out looking the way the do. Is there anything I can do or another app I could download?

You could always mess with it in post production with Photoshop. You could download Photoshop Express app for your phone too. The stock photo app actually has some basic features to enhance your photos. Also if you are using your front camera for many shots, remember that it is not as high quality camera as your rear camera.

Are you taking pictures with HDR on or off?

If it's off, try turning it on. HDR is always higher quality.

Note…you can't use the flash if you have HDR on though.

I turned it off a couple days ago bc I thought the pictures were taking up too much space but this has been happening since I've gotten my phone.

It basically looks like my pictures are paintings. Very blurry. It's weird. My iPhone 5 doesn't even look that bad. & this is for the front camera.

Who knows. I would run your IMEI through that link posted above and see what happens even though you have the 6. Even if it tells you that you are ineligible I would take your phone to Apple anyway and explain the problem to them. Take a picture in the store with the genius present and show them.

Could be a defect in your camera which would warrant a replacement (under warranty).

Maybe you should take a look on iDownloadblog, that got a very good posting of your problem.
