Hi

I have a Nikon D90 that I like to shoot pics and videos with when on vacation. Currently I am planning on a rev B SSD MBA as soon as I hear that they have fixed the screen (line issue).
Will it be ok as a companion to the D90 to view pics and videos, maybe some light editing as well. The more I think about the more it seams like an ideal match to carry the Air and he camera! Alternative would be a MBP last gen.

Thanks

Go ahead. I have been doing some heavy-weight RAW editing using Capture NX2 and my Rev-A 1.6 handles it very well, except for the very occasional beach-balls when you try something totally whacky - use that time to plan your next step. :D

hi

Go for it. You will appreciate the weight of the MBA. I am using D40 nikon and always carry my MBA along with me. When i am at cafe, i will have free time, i will do some editing with it. MBA is not that slow. its ok

I think the Air is a perfect complement for those wishing to carry a laptop with their camera. I can tell you that I've done some major walking with a PowerBook G4 and a Nikon F4 body + 3-4 lenses at a time. HEAVY! Even switching to digital I was still carrying quite the load on my back. Eventually I gave up carrying a notebook in my camera bag. With the Air, I wouldn't mind going back to it.
