PICTURES AND VIDEOS TOO DARK

My MAC is on maximum brightness but pictures and videos are too dark to see. This also applies to games. What can I do about this? I cannot change setting on every individual pic/video so there must be a way to fix it for all. Any ideas.

Probably your screen's gamma, you should be able to pick some other colour profiles in System Prefs or try to calibrate the screen yourself
