I think it’s just you…

You would think so but I know a lot of people that don't use their camera much outside of utility functions like scanning documents, reference photos for business, etc.

I use it alot while traveling. Other than that, mostly for "utility" like others have said.

I use mine quite a lot, more so with my iPhone than my previous Android phone because the camera is actually really very good for general, well lit, day to day photos.

I guess if you don’t use it much, then assume you never used a real camera much either. So, what is the point of the post? Love how good the camera on the Pro models has gotten. As I used to upgrade Sony pocket camera every year and now never have too.

If a pro camera user, then I understand the point.

I upgrade just for the cameras alone! I am a photographer and photography is one of my big passions. I take several hundred photos a week (rough guess, probably more). So that begs the question… if y’all don’t use the camera much, why do you have so much interest in the pro model? Just buy the regular iPhone model, the apps and functionality are the same. The pro models are designed for photography, so if you don’t use the camera, well it seems to be a wasted part of the iPhone that you ignore when someone else can use it. Now that the 14 plus is available, you all now have a big screen option for your iPhone needs. Leave the pro models for us pros…

It's nice to have a decent camera on hand but I don't take many photos.

It seems to me people are paying for the storage of gazillabytes of photos that no one will ever see.
