I was going to by a Mac Mini in September after I get married, but it may just be worth the price to buy iMac instead.

Nice pics :)

BTW you may wanna make sure you have a regular keyboard and mouse, the bluetooth ones can occasionally go wrong - although tiger does seemed to have added nifty things to the startup process.

Still, I'm wearing my jealous face!

Very nice! :)

Does the iMac box come in a box or covered - or did it just come as shown in photo1?

Just like the in the photo. If Steve Jobs ever has to change jobs he should start a packaging business. His packaging is art...

Thanks...Barney the Beagle is a great pal. However he is getting old (11+) and that is a sad time for me. They are very loveable dogs.

I have had good luck with BT...my PB mouse is 6 months old and works fine, never a problem. I hope the keyboard is just as reliable.

Go to that Apple site and One Click a iMac and you can have a smile on your face for awhile...:)

hey did you have to buy the wireless keyboard and mouse seperatly or do they come stock?

I think he just ordered them in place of the wired ones.

God, that's a NICE setup. The iMac G5 is probably my favorite Mac ever.

Fantastic. Making me jealous there. Going to order my 20" after payday. Although probably next month now as car needs 4 new tyres and a service :(

Anyhow...... any reason why you took the back off ? Apart from sheer curiocity ?

Edit **Spotted the extra memory module added**

Cheers

Mark

Ps nice "stressless" chair :D

I see you used the migration assistant, did you have any problems using that? I know a friend who used it and some of here programs and setting didn't quite work right after. Like all her photos were not in albums anymore and she had to go through and redo that. She also tends to add a lot of junk to her computer and have a ton of extra stuff everywhere. How was it for you? I am looking at getting a new iMac but I dread the idea of reinstalling everything. The idea of the migration assistant sounds nice, I am just curious if it actually works.

The migration assistant worked fine. Took about 45 minutes. No loss of any data as far as I know. I did have one network problem. I apparently had an old Static IP from my PC (I used Move2Mac for that transition) and I could not get my network to work between the PB and iMac with Airport Extreme. But the simplicity of Mac saved me. I just set up a new network and in a short time all were connected, including the printer, and system is humming this morning.

The iMac is dwarfed by the TV - how big is that thing? Great setup though - those pics are tipping me over the edge into the purchase zone.
