Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum.... so sorry if this is a duplicate.....

Allright so here's the deal:

On my apple tv 2 I had initially sync my pics with my itunes on my Imac.

Now I just reformated my Imac and tottaly forgot to back up my Apature library. So basically I have lost all of my pictures.... :S

Yet I can still see all of my pictures, full rez, on my apple tv 2nd gen when it goes in screen saver.

That being said I am only assuming that this means that somewhere on my apple tv there is a cache memory of some sort....

Would anyone be able to help me recover those pictures from my apple tv 2?

Thanks lots in advance!

A) Your chances of getting the pictures off the ATV are slim at best. It would have been far easier to recover your photos from your newly formatted iMac than to try to get the low res cache off the ATV. Of course - now that you've been using the iMac for some time, getting the photos from the hard drive is going to be dicey.

B) The photos on the ATV are not full resolution.

C) I hope you learned that backups are your friend. Backup early and often - especially for things like your digital photos.

Well friend.... thanks for reminding me of the obvious....

now anyone as a solution?
