Ok, this is really random, so have patience.

A couple of days ago I noticed a bit of the casing on my macbook had somehow peeled off - where the casing on where the keyboard is joins the front side. It is a lot easier to look at the pictures!

I have absolutely no idea how it happened. I treat my macbook with extreme care, it doesnt leave my desk at all, so how it would have done that is beyond me.

So I was thinking about how it happened, and I just came up to find (after having closed and opened my macbook screen), that the piece had actually come off (see picture!).

This made me think, how the hell could it happen!?I had actually given it a little pull when it was still atached and it firmly held on so Im prety sure it wouldnt have come off from my wrist touching it.

Anyway the only think I can possibly think could have done this, is the little bar above the sceen which stops the screen directly resting on the keyboard (again see pictures). Could this possibly have pressed in too difficultly and caused it to break? Has something like this happened to anyone else? How much would it cost to fix this???

Cheers,
Jon
