Pink Line Of Death

I Played with my iPad for about 2 hrs, and it worked flawlessly. Then suddenly a pink line of pixels appeared on the screen. I called up apple, troubleshooted the problem (reset, hard reset, restore), but no avail. Turns out I have to go in to the apple store and have them replace the unit. UGH this sucks, and I won't be able to go in for about a week or so.

Anyone else have this issue/solution?
