Pinned Tabs Not Showing In New Windows

My pinned tabs do not show on a new window and I cannot find any setting in Preferences regarding this. Am I just the only one experiencing this?

Oh cool! I've had my Safari set-up to not open tabs on a new window and when I changed it, it worked! Thank you very much!

UPDATE: There doesn't seem to be an option to open a new window with one tab. Been trying to look for this for a while now. I guess we'll just have to open a new tab after opening a new window. This seems to be a two step process as opposed to one.
