PinPoint - mouse pointer enhancement

I really could use something like PinPoint https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pinpoint-mouse-enhancer/id408265505?mt=12

It works for a few moments then crashes, with Big Sur on an M1 Mac. Anyone else have success with it? Anyone know how to reach these guys besides their website? It's just broken =/

If not, does anyone have a good suggestion for something similar that actually works for more than a few seconds at a time? =)

Not sure about this software, but if you just want your cursor to be larger, you can do that in Accessibility > Display > Cursor. And if you want to locate it quickly, there's an option there to make it temporarily get larger if you move it back and forth quickly.

I have a hunch that changing the cursor system-wide like this app does/did might require some system-level stuff that's been locked down.

Author Martin Lexow also makes Theine.. and without giving too much away there's an update coming to Cursor Pro as seen on the author's Twitter.

There's also Displays from Jibapps which has a feature in its Preferences that allows a pointer. Hint; look in the Shortcuts section for setting a shortcut to activate the highlighter.

I think Cursor Pro will work. I very much appreciate that you two have taken a moment to write, PinPoint has been such a frustration. Abandonment isn't cool! =)
