Hello forum

In order to be able e.g. to list the content of large folders under Linux, I was using the following command:

mint@mint /usr/bin $ ls -lisa | pg

Question:
Is there an equivalent in macOS Catalina?

Thanks!

Bill

# ls -lisa | less does the job:) Thank you very much for the help!

Even somethimes I would prefer that after every keystrocke(enter key) the whole
visible part of Terminal would be "filled" with files/folders...
# ls -lisa | less on Catalina does infact fill the whole visible part of Terminal
with files/folders after pressing enter the first time, but after that, pressing
the enter-key for every additonal line is required...

Thanks!

Bill

So press the space bar rather than the enter key... less(1) *does* have a man page.
