Has somebody who is sensitive to PWM tested the Pixel 5? I think about buying it to replace my iPhone 7, but im affraid of the OLED because i couldnt handle the iPhone X.
I’m also looking for that information, but there isn’t a Notebookcheck test yet. They typically test the PWM frequency as well, so it’ll indicate whether the frequency is high enough to be more tolerable more likely. The 4a seemed to have a rather low frequency (read: lots of flicker), but I hope it’s better for the 5 with its 90hz screen.
I found this thread while looking for more information about the Pixel 5 and PWA. I just got the phone today to replace my Pixel 3a, and immediately started experiencing headaches on dark mode.
