Does it feel like apple is releasing sub-par products lacking that Jobs' influence just so they can keep the revenue up to pay for the construction of AC2 and the acquisition of other technology-based companies.

Apple is releasing sub-par products, but not for that reason. Apple is all about iDevices now, everything else, including Macs, is an afterthought. The Mac's days are numbered. Tim Cook doesn't care.
