Don't think so and have tried to find a way. I would very much like this also. Have no idea what StumpyBloke post means.

Doesn't seem possible in the stock Reminders app. Perhaps a third-party app has this capability.
It would be nice, though. You could have a grocery shopping list item also in a different shopping list if the item is available at both places.
