Our MP7,1 will arrive early Feb 2020. I'm making a list of things that will need to be done to setup our MP7,1.

We ordered the 16-core with Afterburner and the Radeon Vega II. I understand that Apple will place the Afterburner in PCIe slot 5.

Looking at the PCIe slot specs I see slot 3 & 4 would be suitable for our Sonnet SSD M.2 4x4 PCIe Card.

What PCIe slot have others selected who have the Sonnet SSD M.2 4x4 PCIe Card ?

For a four NVMe M.2 SSD PCIe RAID Add On Card you definitely want to use a 16 lane electrical slot , assuming its completely populated with drives .
