Play Audio when phone is locked?

I have the new 16 Pro Max running iOS 18. I like to stream live broadcasts with the YouTubeTV app while I’m out walking. I often wish to lock the phone and continue to hear the audio. I used to be able to do this before this upgrade. Now when I lock the phone I can see the audio controls for a quick second but then it disappears and the audio stops.

I can do this with the Music app, without issue. But for some reason it isn’t working with YouTubeTV anymore.

Anyone know how I can fix this please?

I have YouTube Premium but that’s not it, thank you. YouTubeTV is a separate subscription for live TV which I also have. It’s separate from YouTube Premium. Two different things. Anyway I have both.

Ah, sorry, we do not have YouTubeTV here. Misunderstood that. Did they already update for iOS18?
