Playing games/tv on iphone and viewing on imac

Good afternoon people.

Is there a cable (or connection) that will allow me to play games or stream tv from my iphone to view it on my imac?

I know I can get a tv out cable and watch Skysports on my tv through my iphone but can I do this on my mac, particularly where games are concerned?
