It works very well. Looks pretty sharp as well. The video was recorded using the on device recording feature, so it doesn't look as good as seeing it in person.Pretty slick!
Wow! It looks great!Decided to give it a go. This is coming from my Xbox Series X remote play to the M1 iPad Pro 11" (2021). iPad is propped on my lap with a Torro folio and game is being controlled with Xbox One X controller.
I can't feel it at all. I'm sure there has to be some sort to a degree, but I'm able to play it without noticing any issues. What the input lag like?
I'm guessing it's 60fps. If there's a way I can analyze the video, I'd be more than happy to do it.What's the FPS you get on the iPad?
Remote play from within the Xbox iOS app.is this using xcloud?
I play remote play from my PS4 and it doesn't really tax my 2018 11" Pro. Divinity Original Sin 2 however -- bought that yesterday and played it tonight. 2018 11" Pro heats up quickly and sucks the battery as well. I'm sure an M1 will run much cooler for intense gaming like DOS2, but remote play to PS4/XBox to me doesn't seem as taxing.Question, in this instance would the M1 chip help at all in remote playing (ie would there be less lag/better res.. etc) or is the chip irrelevant? Reason I'm asking is I'm thinking of getting the 12.9" M1 iPad to do exactly this when I go and stay at my parents place to avoid me having to lug my console home every time. If the chip is irrelevant, I may get a discounted 2020 model.
