Dear all,

I was not able to find a solution to this for years. Maybe I am simply not intelligent, but I genuinely do not know how to play multiple MPEG-4 files on a mac in sequence, one after another...like a playlist. I have purchased some tutorials and simply want to add video files to a library and be able to watch one after another and then know where I finished and pick from there. The way I do it is that I open video files one after one and play. There must be a different way?

Thanks!

I prefer the video player IINA which automatically plays the next videos of the current folder. No need for playlists or anything.
There are addon solutions for VLC to achieve the same but I have not looked into them on macOS.

EDIT: These are the (default) features IINA offers. Resume only works on a per-file basis.
