I have installed iPhone integration kit in my car. It has a dock connector that automatically allows to charge the phone and play iPod. However I am trying also to listen to app radios. Whenever I load the app and trying to start the radio it says Dock Connected and I cannot hear any sound. I tried multiple radio apps, surprisingly Sirius App works fine.

Anyone knows how to get around this problem, or these radio apps just cannot function with the integration kits

Thanks

iHeartRadio and Pandora work fine for me. I notice that iHeartRadio is pretty low in volume compared to the iPod or Pandora, though. Try turning up the volume on your car output.

But are you connecting the iPhone using audio cable? I can hear the music through the car stereo when I connect through the headphone jack, but not when just dock cable is connected

I might be able to help here. I have a pioneer head unit that has a usb in my glove box to which I keep an iPod cord attached. When I want to hear Pandora, I must go to the iPod first and begin playing any song, then click the home button to come out and go click into the Pandora app. Then it will slowly dim the iPod music and bring up whatever I clicked on Pandora and I can control Pandora from the phone.

Note: If I happen to press forward on the radio, it will skip to the next song on the iPod, not Pandora because Pandora can't be controlled by the radio.

Hope this helps

If you have bluetooth enabled you can output any audio from the iphone to the car stereo. I have tried it with Pandora as well as the fart app.
