I am on a jailbroken phone (3GS), is there anything I can get to play video content on websites? My friend had me install something that let's you DL the video right to the phone, but it's not working, the file DLs as an HTML link and when I click "play in MediaPlayer" it says "server is not correctly configured". Also, is there anything I can get to make .mpg videos play? A LOT of websites have .mpg vids and when I click 'em it says "Safari cannot download this file". As usual, any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

if its just downloading i am in the same boat as you and can not help BUT if you want to stream then you need to open up Cydia and download 'imobileCinema'
its a powerful plugin which will allow you to stream videos from non youtube sites.

Hey thanks. I just went to DL that but apparently I already did cuz it's there and installed lol. I can't think of any sites with streaming video now though to test it lol.

What I'm looking for is something that will let mecplay the videos that you need to "download" from sites. For example, on www.surfline.com to watch the videos you click 'em and the thing pops up asking if you wanna open the file or save it. You either save it somewhere or hit open and it plays right in WMP (or whatever player you use). I'm wondering if there is something we can DL that allows us to play those videos
